Throughout the year we host Wine & Food Seminars in our spectacular Gallery Room. These informative sessions cover a range of topics from wine and cheese pairings, cured meats, wine and chocolate pairings to highlighting a specific variety.
Wine & Food Seminars are hosted by 13th Street Sommelier Corinne Maund. A native of the Niagara Region, Corinne came by her love of wine naturally. Her education began at the Niagara Culinary Institute at Niagara College. Following her training she worked with Hillbrand Estates Winery. She then moved to Nova Scotia where she studied and received her Sommelier certification from the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers Atlantic Chapter. Over the past year she has been the Sommelier at restaurants in Nova Scotia, where she conducted many wine tastings and classes. It was Corinne's love of wine that inspired her to move back to Niagara Region.
In addition to planning and hosting 13th Street Winery's Wine & Food Seminars she can also be found at the retail wine bar greeting guests and educating them on our wines. Corinne is also responsible for managing our cheese program and is always discovering delicious artisanal cheeses to pair with our wines.
Tickets are typically $20 pp + HST although the price may change based on subject matter and inclusions of individual seminars.
Wine Club Members receive two complimentary tickets to each seminar.
